Transcriptionist Position

Our Transcriptionists type between 80 and 120 wpm with 100% accuracy. They are fast, accurate and understand the word "deadline". They are highly proficient and operate a wide variety of transcription software.

What can you provide?

• Do you know how to use Inqscribe?
• Do you know how to use Express Scribe?
• Do you know how to use VLC?
• Do you know how to use Quicktime?
• Do you know how to use Internet Explorer to search the internet?
• Do you want casual work?
• Do you have an excellent understanding of the English language?
• Do you understand the importance of confidentiality?
• Do you understand ethics?
• Can you supply two referees who have worked with you?
• Do you have an ABN?
• Do you have your own audio dictation headset and foot pedal?
• Are you happy to sign a Confidentiality Agreement?

We work to deadlines, therefore, if we ring you with a job, it usually means that we need the work done straight away. If you do not have the ability to do the work straight away, please do not apply. We are looking for transcriptionists for casual overflow transcription work. This would be on an "as needs" basis only. Ideally, if you have your own ABN and are looking for extra work, then this would suit you. As with all transcription businesses, we never know when work is going to come in and as such, we cannot guarantee that you would have work on a regular basis. However, if you are just looking to pick up some extra work here and there, then sub-contracting for us may suit you. How to apply?

If you would like to join us as a sub-contractor, kindly forward a typing test which you have sourced yourself online. The typing test must show your NAME and the DATE the test was taken. As a transcriptonist, you will be required to source quite a bit of information online, therefore, it is important that you can find a simple typing test yourself.
